November 29, 2025 – 12:00 PM ET
Tyler Adams, the Bournemouth midfielder, delivered a stunning strike from nearly the halfway line, helping his team take a 2-0 lead against Sunderland in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
This marked the 26-year-old’s second Premier League goal, having previously equalized against Manchester City earlier this month. His recent goal showcased exceptional skill, as he managed to loft the ball over Sunderland’s goalkeeper, Robin Roefs, from approximately 50 yards out.

The impressive strike was officially recorded at 47.4 yards, making it the longest goal of the season, surpassing Tottenham’s Richarlison, who scored from 38.6 yards against Arsenal the previous week.
Despite Adams’ heroic effort, Sunderland rallied back, ultimately winning the match 3-2.
Adams had been removed from the national team roster for upcoming friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay due to an injury sustained earlier in the week, when he collided with teammate Adam Smith during Bournemouth’s 4-0 defeat to Aston Villa. Fortunately, he appears to have made a swift recovery.
