1 Team Strongly Favored to Draft Bo Nix in the NFL Draft

EUGENE, OREGON - OCTOBER 21: Bo Nix #10 of the Oregon Ducks warms up before the game againsst the Washington State Cougars at Autzen Stadium on October 21, 2023 in Eugene, Oregon.

The 2024 NFL Draft is finally just a few days away and the Denver Broncos will be eagerly waiting for Day 1 to begin as they own the No. 12 overall pick.

Head coach Sean Payton would surely likely to reconstruct the offense more in line with his scheme and vision, and that’ll require a new quarterback.

The Russell Wilson experience failed spectacularly and Denver finally decided to cut ties with the veteran signal caller who wound up signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers in free agency.

As of now, the quarterback room belongs to Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci, so the Broncos are widely expected to take another one in the draft.

At No. 12, Denver is out of range of some of the flashier names like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and J.J. McCarthy, but they’re still in line to pick amongst the next tier of quarterbacks.

As things stand, the Broncos are the betting favorites to land Oregon’s Bo Nix, via the New York Post.

Nix isn’t as highly regarded amongst evaluators compared to the other players in his position group and is often referred to as a safe option for a team.

However, that downplays the production that Nix showed in college as he was able to keep his offenses on schedule and make just about every throw in the book.

Nix’s pro comparison is Kirk Cousins and if Denver is able to get a player that can be as productive as Cousins then they should consider themselves fortunate.
