The ASB Classic is New Zealand’s only tour-level tournament and is usually contested in one of the oldest tennis facilities in the world.
The ASB Tennis Centre has been in existence since 1922, and it promises to showcase its wonderful hospitality to the 28 singles players competing in the men’s edition this year. The ASB Classic is one of two ATP tournaments running in the week preceding the Australian Open.

The player who manages to upstage the entire field will be crowned champion and bank $100,640. Additionally, he’ll receive the full 250 ranking points. The runner-up, meanwhile, will earn $58,705 and 165 points.
The prize money breakdown begins in the first round, with those players getting $7,095 for their efforts. However, point distribution will commence from the second round. Those players who are lucky enough to win at least one match will receive $11,610 and 25 points.
