The United States Women’s National Team take on South Korea tonight in the second of 2 friendlies during this June international window. Fresh off a 4-0 victory on Saturday in Colorado, the USWNT hope to continue their excellent play and give Emma Hayes her 2nd victory as head coach.
The USWNT relied on goals from the run of play by Mallory Swanson and corner kick goals from Tierna Davidson, but the team was able to also deploy some of the style of play that we can expect to see in the new era. We will probably see some squad rotation as well, giving other players a chance to show that they can be a dependable member of the Olympic roster when it’s named next month. For now, the objective is to close out this window with solid play against South Korea and the win.
