PING is adding 5 new championship-winning models to its highly-exclusive and successful PLD (Putting Lab Design) range. Each new offering sports an attractive gunmetal finish, deep-milled AMP grooves and a choice between either the traditional PP58 grip or one of two exciting new versions: the mid-sized Tour M or the slightly-larger Tour L.
The new range is comprised of:
1) The ALLY BLUE : a 370g high-MOI mallet with a fully-machined 3-piece design that incorporates an Aluminium body and hosel wedded to a stainless steel soleplate.
2) ANSER : A 350g version of PING’s winningest putter that features a cavity-based white sightline and a new PING composite shaft.
3) ANSER 2D : A Tony Finau-inspired 365g option with a cavity sightline and an overall slightly-deeper, perimeter-weighted design.
4) DS 72 : This Doug Sanders model, popularized by Viktor Hovland, weighs in at 365g and is characterized by its mid-mallet styling with a wide top rail, a ball-width cavity and a matte-black double bend shaft.
5) OSLO 3 : Last, but certainly not least, is this 375g Tyrell Hatton inspired mallet that features an ANSER 3-style hosel to optimize the club’s centre of gravity.
