The rich always get richer, and the San Francisco 49ers are absolutely loaded.

On top of having elite offensive weapons, such as Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and the injured Christian McCaffrey, they’ll now get another prime playmaker.

According to a report by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, they just activated rookie WR Ricky Pearsall from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list, and he’s fully expected to make his season debut on Sunday vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Florida product was shot in an attempted robbery late in August and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Fortunately, he was quickly discharged and didn’t suffer major damages.

Pearsall returned to practice at the beginning of the week and suffered no setbacks in his recovery.

The Niners took him with the No. 31 selection in the NFL Draft, with most people speculating that he could be Aiyuk’s replacement, as he was reportedly looking to leave the team.

Levi’s Stadium will most likely welcome the 24-year-old with open arms after such a major health scare.

Moreover, the Niners will look to avenge a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss when they host the defending Super Bowl champions, looking to end their five-game winning streak to start the season.

Hopefully, Pearsall will be able to make an impact and showcase his potential for this team right out of the gate.
