The Chicago Bears are averaging 30 points per game over their two-game winning streak as they head across the pond to London for a battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chicago will look to make it three in a row despite having a growing list of injured players on both sides of the ball, with Friday’s report showing eight Bears working through injuries ahead of Sunday’s matchup.
The Bears PR team shared Friday’s injury report on X and showed defensive backs Jaquan Brisker, Terell Smith, and Tyrique Stevenson, as well as defensive lineman Zacch Pickens all missed practice on Friday while offensive lineman Teven Jenkins was limited and defensive lineman Jacob Martin, tight end Marcedes Lewis, and defensive back Kyler Gordon were all full participants.
Brisker, Pickens, and Smith are all out while Stevenson is listed as doubtful, Jenkins and Martin are questionable, and Lewis and Gordon appear to be good to go and don’t have a game status for Sunday.
The biggest toll this injury report will take is on the secondary where Brisker, Stevenson, and likely Smith will all miss the London game leaving plenty of question marks about who will take on the tasks of defending a sneaky impressive group of wide receivers for Jacksonville.
The Jags are coming off their first win after hanging 37 points on the Indianapolis Colts, but their injury report skews more on the offensive side of the ball with tight end Evan Engram, running back Travis Etienne, and wide receiver Gabe Davis all listed as questionable.
