Jemele Hill believes that A’ja Wilson should have her own signature shoe, following the news that Caitlin Clark will be receiving one before even starting in the WNBA.
As reported by The Athletic, Clark will become one of the few WNBA players with a signature shoe and is also close to securing a major endorsement deal with Nike.
Hill emphasized Wilson’s impressive credentials, which include being a two-time MVP, two-time champion, and five-time All-Star, yet she still does not have her own shoe.
She shared a meme depicting a weary Popeyes employee next to a list of Wilson’s accomplishments, indicating that Wilson has more than proven herself deserving of her own signature shoe.
