The Philadelphia Eagles have themselves a stacked team, at least on paper.

They have an All-Pro quarterback in Jalen Hurts.

Hurts is throwing passes to a three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver in A.J. Brown and another 1,000-yard wide receiver in DeVonta Smith.

Additionally on offense, Philly landed two-time Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley earlier this offseason on a three-year deal.

Defensively, they have stars at every level, and that includes stud defensive tackle Jalen Carter, former Pro Bowl linebacker and Super Bowl winner Devin White, and Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay.

However, that might not be all the talent that they have.

A.J. Brown believes that 26-year-old Isaiah Rodgers, who is back from a gambling suspension that cost him all of 2023, will have a great year.

“For a guy that has not played football for a year, coming back, he looks like he has been playing nonstop. He’s flying around, and he’s going to do special stuff for us this year,” Brown recently told ESPN.

A former sixth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts out of UMass in 2020, Rodgers has predominantly been a return man and a defensive back in his career.

He has over 1,600 career kick return yards in three NFL seasons, along with a kick return touchdown.

The speedy cornerback also has 90 tackles, 10 pass deflections and three interceptions in his career.

His 4.2 speed is quite noticeable, especially for opposing wide receivers struggling to run away from him and kick coverage teams trying to corral him.

To see Brown say this stuff about his teammate should excite Eagles fans.

Rodgers is in good shape despite missing all of 2023.

His impact on the team could be massive if he shows off his versatility the only way he knows how.
