The San Francisco 49ers were so close to winning their first Super Bowl since the 1994-95 season.
But, once again they came up short.
The Niners have been to three Super Bowls in the past 11 seasons and have lost them all.
In the last two Super Bowls, they faced the Kansas City Chiefs and had a double-digit lead in both.
But, for a multitude of reasons they collapsed late in each game.
Still, many people around the league do not feel bad for the 49ers.
Instead, they are taking this time to make fun of them for losing another Super Bowl.
According to Cameron DaSilva, Aaron Donald posted on Instagram a picture of him with his Super Bowl ring.

The timing of the post goes to show it was a shot at the 49ers, who are the Rams’ biggest rival.
Donald and the Rams won the Super Bowl during the 2021-22 season.
They did so by knocking off the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game that year.
Despite being one of the most successful teams over the past decade the 49ers have nothing to show for it.
But, you can expect they will once again be favorites to win the NFC next season.
The Niners are expected to bring most of their roster back and that includes quarterback Brock Purdy on a cheap deal.
Both the Rams and 49ers should be competitive in the NFC West with a chance at making the playoffs.
This rivalry is still going strong and it will be fun to see them go at each other next season.
