Aaron Judge is on pace to make history with RBIs

Aaron Judge Is On A Historic Pace For RBIs

With members of the New York Yankees dropping like flies of late due to injury including Giancarlo Stanton, Anthony Rizzo, and now Juan Soto, Aaron Judge has been the mainstay that has kept the train on the tracks.

Judge has erased a slow start to the season and is now on a historic pace for RBIs, and if he can keep going at his current rate, he will find himself in rare company by the end of the year.

YES Network shared a stat on X that shows where Judge sits by having 80 RBIs before the month of July, a feat that has only ever been accomplished in a Yankees uniform by Lou Gehrig (twice), and Babe Ruth.

Judge went ballistic in the month of May with 14 home runs and 27 RBIs with a .361 batting average and has followed it up with an equally, if not more impressive month of June with a .405 average, 10 homers, and 35 RBIs.

Nobody in baseball is operating on Judge’s level at the moment, and he is on pace to challenge his own American League record of 62 home runs while also being on pace for 152 RBIs.

No player has topped 140 RBIs since Prince Fielder and Ryan Howard in 2009, and Alex Rodriguez and Miguel Tejada are the only players to drive in 150 runs since 1999.

Having Juan Soto in front of Judge has been a fantastic decision, and it is paying dividends since Judge is making a run at a Triple Crown.

Every day there’s a new Judge stat that blows your mind.
