The New York Jets were extremely excited to get Aaron Rodgers on their team.

Rodgers was, of course, disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers when he left the organization and hoped to find something new and exciting with the Jets.

He wasn’t able to showcase his skills much in Year 1, as he got injured in the opening game of the 2023 season.

However, he’s back and fully healthy, ready to prove that he was worth the investment.

The Jets lost their season opener, but they found a way to win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2, giving Rodgers his first win with the team.

He was asked about this in a postgame presser, to which he said “Technically my second. We all know that, somehow, my first one counts.”

Rodgers was joking with reporters at this moment, but it was encouraging for Jets fans to see him in a good mood when talking about the team.

He is in the twilight of his career, and seemingly only has a few years left.

Rodgers wants to make the most of his final years in the league, and he’s confident that the Jets are an organization that can make a splash in the playoffs.

He has talented pieces around him on offense, and their defense continues to be one of the best in the league.

Their win on Sunday demonstrates that this team can be gritty and win ugly games, something that is vital when it comes to a playoff push.
