The Milwaukee Admirals came out victorious on Thursday night, with a 7-2 win over Coachella Valley in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, avoiding elimination once again. The Admirals, who are now 5-0 this postseason in elimination games, are still behind in the series three games to one. They will have the opportunity to turn things around in Game 5 on Saturday evening.

Fedor Svechkov scored two goals, including a crucial power-play goal that broke a tie in the second period, ending Milwaukee’s 0-for-20 slump with the man advantage. The Admirals took the lead and never trailed in Game 4, putting an end to Coachella Valley’s nine-game winning streak. Other notable scorers for Milwaukee included Joakim Kemell, Phil Tomasino, Zach L’Heureux, and Roland McKeown, all contributing with a goal and an assist each.

Troy Grosenick made 23 saves for Milwaukee, shutting out the Firebirds in the final two periods. On the other side, Connor Carrick and Logan Morrison scored the goals for Coachella Valley.
