After 12 Years on the Market, Michael Jordan’s Chicago Mansion Finally Sold

Jordan's

After 12 years on the market, it appears that Michael Jordan’s ‘unsellable’ mansion in Highland Park, Illinois, may have finally found a buyer.

Jordan initially listed the property for $29 million in 2012, but later dropped the price to $14.9 million in 2015.

This 56,000-square-foot home, filled with custom touches referencing the Bulls legend, has remained vacant for years.

Despite being on and off the market since 2012, the latest development shows the mansion as “contingent” on Realtor.com, indicating that Jordan may have accepted an offer pending certain conditions from the buyer.

The house is a tribute to Jordan’s iconic career, featuring his number 23 on the front gate, his famous Air Jordan logo on the flag sticks of the putting green, and a basketball court with the same logo at its center.

In addition, the property boasts a seven-acre lot built in 1995, with 19 bathrooms, an indoor gym, a library, a cigar room, a tennis court, an infinity pool, and three separate multi-car garages.

Those interested in touring the property must sign nondisclosure agreements, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Recent headlines in August highlighted viral TikTok videos showcasing the deteriorating state of the mansion, including a flooded basketball court and scattered furniture and knick knacks.

Good luck to the potential buyer!
