Agent of Aaron Wan-Bissaka working hard to secure transfer to West Ham United – Latest Updates from Manchester United

Aston Villa confident they can beat Manchester United in the race for Michael Olise - Man United News And Transfer News

In a bid to not fall foul of Profit and Sustainability rules while conducting their summer business, Manchester United need to move on players and balance their books.

Donny van de Beek and Willy Kambwala have already departed and big-name stars are not exempt with Casemiro and Victor Lindelof both likely to be moved on.

Another player who is attracting plenty of interest is Aaron Wan-Bissaka with interest in his services from within the Premier League, Italy as well as Turkey.

AC Milan are the latest entrants while Galatasaray’s bid for the full-back was rejected by the Red Devils with United’s asking price of £17 million proving to be too high for them. But West Ham United remain interested as per Football Insider.

West Ham interested in AWB

United are open to a sale with the right-back’s current deal ending in 2025 after the club triggered the one-year extension option in his contract. No negotiations have taken place regarding a renewal.

However, the sale will still involve the 20-time English league champions suffering a major loss on their initial investment of £50 million.

“West Ham United have enquired about signing Man United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, sources have told Football Insider. The Irons are in the market for a new right-back after Ben Johnson exited the club after his contract expired.

“The 20-time champions are willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old this summer, with his contract at Old Trafford expiring next year.

“If he was to be sold, sources claim that Man United are expected to make a “huge” loss on Wan-Bissaka.”

Hammers News, a source for West Ham-related transfer updates, claimed that the former Crystal Palace star’s agent is pushing his case to the London club’s chairman.

Agent trying hard

“Extra credibility is given to the claims about a Hammers move for Wan-Bissaka – the right-back Man United signed for £50m from Palace – by virtue of the fact he is a client of Will Salthouse’s Unique Sports Group agency.

“Agent Salthouse is known to be a close friend of the sons of West Ham chief Sullivan. Now Hammers News can exclusively reveal that Salthouse is pleading with Sullivan to sign Wan-Bissaka instead of Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters.”

Irrespective of the rumours, Wan-Bissaka has continued to train with the club and even played the first-half of the friendly against Rosenborg.

United currently do not have backup for Diogo Dalot and Wan-Bissaka has won over Erik ten Hag in the past. But his positional awareness remains a liability and he regressed with the ball last season. He needs a big pre-season to convince the club to keep him onboard.
