Remi Poirier of the Texas Stars showed resilience in the Calder Cup Playoffs series against the Manitoba Moose. Despite a challenging start where he allowed eight goals in a game, Poirier bounced back with a 41-save shutout to secure the series win.
The quick turnaround led to an impressive performance by Poirier and the Stars, who defeated the Moose in two games to advance to the Central Division Semifinals against the Milwaukee Admirals.
On the other hand, Dustin Wolf of the Calgary Wranglers displayed outstanding goaltending in the opening game of their playoff series against the Tucson Roadrunners. Wolf made 46 saves to secure a 2-0 victory for the Wranglers.
Both Poirier and Wolf showcased their talent and determination as they set their sights on a successful playoff run in pursuit of the Calder Cup.
