SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
The American Hockey League has released its composite 2024 preseason schedule in anticipation of the start of the league’s 89th campaign next month. The AHL, in existence since 1936, serves as the primary development league for players, coaches, managers, executives, broadcasters, and staff of all 32 National Hockey League teams. It is noteworthy that almost 90 percent of current NHL players are graduates of the American Hockey League, and more than 130 members of the Hockey Hall of Fame have AHL experience in their careers.
The 2024-25 AHL regular season will commence on Fri., Oct. 11.
