Alcaraz Inks Lucrative Deal With Nike, Will Launch Signature Logo

Alcaraz Signs Multi-Million Dollar Contract With Nike With Own Logo To Come

[ad_1]

Carlos Alcaraz has renewed his partnership with his clothing sponsor Nike, signing a multi-million dollar with the company for the following years.

Alcaraz is one of the top names in tennis right now. While he’s maybe not the most valuable player due to legends like Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic still playing and having built a great legacy, he’s certainly getting up there.

His most recent Roland Garros win elevated his profile even further, and Nike recognizes that potential. The Spaniard signed with Nike in 2019, switching from Lotto, and has since emerged as one of their top players.

The initial deal was supposed to run until 2025, but the parties have since discussed a renewal, which was reportedly signed a few weeks ago ahead of Roland Garros. According to reports from Relevo, Alcaraz will be tied to Nike for the next ten years, with the deal earning him between 15 and 20 million.

That deal is fairly in line with what the company paid Jannik Sinner, who signed a 10-year contract with them two years ago and got 158 million.

Alcaraz’s resume right now is far more impressive than Sinner’s was two years ago, so it’s only natural to believe that he got an amount fairly close to that or even bigger. While not official, the reports suggest that it should be made official fairly soon.

Notching that deal is hugely important for Alcaraz because it will allow him to further develop his brand, which will now also include a personalized logo designed similarly to how the company designed logos for Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

No information is available on how the logo might look, but it’s surely going to be iconic, or at least that’s what will be the company’s aim, as the logos of previous legends proved to be a huge success.
