Alcaraz Shows Strong Form to Advance to Wimbledon Quarter-Finals in Impressive Display

Alcaraz Impresses With Confident Performance To Reach Wimbledon Quarter-Finals

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz looked very champion-like at times, as he bested Ugo Humbert in four sets.

The Spanish have historically proven to be far better sailors than the French, and Alcaraz certainly sailed past the Frenchman in this match at times, beating him in four sets. It could have been a trickier match because Humbert can play some really good tennis, as he showed in the third set.

He has a good serve and hits the forehand really well; however, none of that bothered the World No. 3. After having some troubles in his previous matches, Alcaraz finally played a match without much trouble, at least it seemed to be that way early on.

Even if he dropped the third set, it was a quick one, and it was just too good from Humbert. At the end of the day, he’s in the quarter-final, looking to go even further.

It was a fairly simple affair, though not perfect once more. The opening set saw Alcaraz take an early break, which helped him ease himself into the match.
