Christian Pulisic won’t be lifting a trophy with AC Milan in his first season in Italy, but it didn’t stop the U.S. men’s national team star from adding to his statistics on Sunday.
Pulisic registered his eighth Serie A assist of the season as AC Milan tied Genoa 3-3 at the San Siro. The 25-year-old earned SBI Americans Abroad Player of the Week honors after shining in Stefano Pioli’s squad this weekend.
Pulisic’s delivery to Olivier Giroud in the 75th minute helped AC Milan grab a 3-2 lead as the Frenchman finished off the American’s pass. Despite Genoa tying the match in the 87th minute, Pulisic walked away with another strong 90-minute performance under his belt.
Pulisic created three offensive chances, won four duels, and made four recoveries as he now has 22 goal contributions across all competitions this season. It’s been a memorable debut campaign in Serie A for Pulisic and he will now hope to end his schedule on a high note against Cagliari, Torino, and Salernitana respectively.

Brenden Aaronson
Union Berlin’s quest to remain the German Bundesliga for next season took a hit on Sunday but Brenden Aaronson provided a positive cameo off the bench.
Aaronson registered one assist in Union Berlin’s 4-3 home loss to Bochum. The USMNT attacker was one of the livelier performers for the hosts, winning six duels, completing three dribbles, and registering his first goal contribution since March 16.
Reggie Cannon
Saturday marked a winning conclusion to Reggie Cannon’s first season with QPR.
The veteran fullback made his first start since March 14 as QPR defeated Coventry City 2-1 away from home. Cannon logged 90 minutes at right back, winning seven duels, completing two tackles, and making two interceptions.
Cannon will now hope he earns a USMNT call-up this summer.
Emmanuel Sabbi
Emmanuel Sabbi didn’t get on the scoresheet Saturday but still produced a top performance in Le Havre’s 3-1 home victory.
Sabbi created three offensive opportunities while also winning seven duels in his 89-minute outing against Strasbourg. The USMNT attacker is frantically trying to help his club from relegation this season and more performances like Saturday’s will certainly lead to him achieving his goal.
Griffin Yow
Griffin Yow’s productive season with Westerlo continued Friday in a 2-2 draw with Sint-Truiden.
Yow registered his fifth assist of the campaign, logging 79 minutes from his right midfield position. The U.S. youth national team attacker also made three tackles and won six duels in the draw.
Westerlo has three matches remaining this season, starting with May 10’s trip to Standard Liege.
