Americans Abroad Midweek Preview: Reyna, Scally, and more

Americans Abroad Midweek Preview: Reyna, Scally, and more

Borussia Dortmund’s quest to lift the German DFB Pokal continues midweek with trip to fellow Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

Gio Reyna will be seeking minutes as the Black and Yellow aims to reach the quarterfinals of the cup competition. The U.S. men’s national team attacker has been an unused substitute in each of Dortmund’s last two matches despite having a strong November international window with the USMNT. Reyna has made five league appearances and one German Cup appearance so far in domestic play and will be eager to prove what he can do in a knockout match this week.

In Spain, Luca De La Torre and Celta Vigo continue their Copa Del Rey schedule.

In England, Antonee Robinson, Tim Ream and Fulham seek a bounce-back result against Nottingham Forest. Chris Richards and Crystal Palace host Bournemouth.

Elsewhere, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic face Hibernian. Djordje Mihailovic and AZ Alkmaar take on NEC Nijmegen. Henry Wingo and Ferencvaros seek three points against Mezokovesd.
