Americans Abroad Midweek Rewind: Pulisic, Zendejas, and more

Americans Abroad Midweek Rewind: Pulisic, Zendejas, and more

AC Milan received a positive shift from Christian Pulisic in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League showdown with Slavia Prague and the American attacker concluded his performance by getting his name on the scoresheet.

Pulisic scored the fourth and final goal for the Rossoneri in a 4-2 first leg triumph at the San Siro. The U.S. men’s national team star flicked home Rafael Leao’s shot attempt past Jindrich Stanek with five minutes to play, giving AC Milan a two-goal advantage heading into next week’s second leg from the Czech Republic.

Pulisic won all six of his duels and drew two fouls from his right midfield position. Despite only registering one shot on target, Pulisic celebrated his eighth goal of the season across all competitions.

AC Milan resumes Serie A play on Sunday against Empoli.
