Evnroll’s new 38 Tour Spec putter line brings the technology and aesthetics of their current Neo Classics line to the counterbalanced long putter market.
Evnroll is combining their established putter technology into a putter design that includes even more useful putting innovations – and the Evnroll 38 Tour Spec line is already generating buzz.
They have set out to create a smooth pendulum swing with this new range.
“38 inches in length, complemented by a 17-inch grip and a 370-gram head, the extended shaft and grip offer a one-size-fits-all all spec, along with the advantage of promoting a one-piece pendulum stroke, minimizing wrist movement and ensuring the putter face remains square to the target line throughout the stroke,” Evnroll said.
That should result in more putts being made on the course. You should roll the ball towards the target if the putter face is square to the target line and your target was appropriately chosen.
Evnroll haven’t tried to reinvent the wheel with these designs, but they are something that fans of counterbalanced putters will rightly take note of.
“Featuring a precisely milled progressive groove configuration, every Evnroll putter imparts a consistent energy transfer at impact across the entire hitting area for unmatched distance control, accuracy, and zero dispersion,” Evnroll say.
In addition to guaranteeing consistent roll lengths from strikes away from the centre, Evnroll’s revolutionary face groove design also corrects wayward rolls back toward the target.
The SweetFace™ grooves aim to make you a more accurate putter, and the new Neo Classic polymer/milled aluminum insert adds to the superb feel of these putters.
The ball is consistently redirected down the target line due to closely spaced variable-width channels on the putter face. The v-shaped channels also transfer energy, allowing both centered and off-center hits to travel the same distance.
All hese putters include Evnroll’s assisting putter technology with all the beneficial counterbalanced construction qualities.
There are three putter designs in this new line – the ER2, ER5 and ER8.
These three designs mirror their equivalents in the Neoclassics range in terms of look.
Meanwhile, the ER2 has a blade-like look but features additional helpful technology.
The ER8 stands out as a potential competitor to the pre-eminent counterbalanced mallet the Odyssey Cruiser Jailbird.
For individuals who prefer fang-shaped putters from other brands or other variants of the ER5, the 38 Tour Spec ER5 will meet their visual preferences.
The Evnroll 38 Tour Spec range of putters is ideal if you’ve been thinking about getting a long, counterbalanced putter but aren’t sure if it features enough useful putting innovations.
