Semt77 Yalova Belediye Spor (BSL) signed 28-year old American center Jaylen Johnson (206cm-102kg-1996, college: Louisville). Johnson already started the season at H.Haifa in Israeli Winner League. In two games he had 8.5ppg, 10.5rpg and 2.5apg.
Three years ago (four years after his graduation) he was drafted by Motor City Cruise (G-League) in first round (8th overall).
The former University of Louisville star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Johnson has played in eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Lebanon (Byblos), Taiwan (Taipei Taishin Mars), Uruguay (Nacional), NBA (LA Clippers), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Windy City Bulls), Big3 (Ball Hogs and Bivouac), and NBA Summer League (Indiana Pacers). Johnson won Big3 championship title in 2024.
