Shahrdari Gorgan (Superleague) has signed 31-year-old Armenian-American point guard Ryan Boatright for the upcoming season. Boatright, who stands at 183cm, played college basketball at UConn. He most recently played for Stars of Storrs (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. and has also tried to make it to the NBA.

Boatright previously represented Armenia at the European Championship 24 years ago, with impressive stats of 24.5ppg, 6.0rpg, 9.5apg, and 2.5spg in 2 games. He has played professionally in fifteen countries across Europe, Africa, and North America, including stints in China, Croatia, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, and NBA teams such as the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets.

Boatright graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2015 and will be entering his tenth season of professional basketball. He was voted to the VTB United League All-Star Game in 2023 and has played in the final of the AAC Tournament in 2014 and 2015.
