Analysis of Basketball News, Scores, Stats, and Standings

KK Hidria (2SKL) signed 31-year old ex-international point guard Domen Bratoz (186cm-1993) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Bratoz played last season at Terme Olimia in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. In 18 games, he had 11.9ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.7apg, and 2.4spg (in the top 4). Playing in 2SKL will provide better matches and more playing time for Bratoz. He had a good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Bratoz also played for Zlatorog that season, where in 5 2SKL games, he recorded 8.4ppg, 1.6rpg, and 1.2apg.
Bratoz has been a member of the Slovenian international program for several years. He was called to the Slovenian Senior National Team back in 2016 and previously for the U20 National Team in 2013.
With experience playing professionally in Estonia (Rapla), Montenegro (Podgorica), Slovenia (Krka, Sentjur, Slovan, Rogaska, and Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana), and North Macedonia (Kozuv), Bratoz has a well-rounded background in basketball. He was voted to the Slovenian League All-Star Game in 2014 and 2015. His team made it to the Slovenian Cup final in 2020.
