AEO Proteas Voulas (National League 1) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Albanian ex-international 202cm power forward Oresti Beli for upcoming season. Beli is not a newcomer in Greek League as he played most recently at Amyntas in the Elite League. In 30 games he recorded 5.4ppg and 5.0rpg last season. National League 1 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Papagou (also in Elite League) where in 26 games he averaged 8.0ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.8apg in that year. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He also represented Albania at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Oradea (Romania) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 9.9ppg, Reb-4(11.1rpg), 1.0spg, FGP: 38.2%, FT: 60.7%.
Beli has played previously for Greek team Aris Petropoulis.
