GS Eleftheroupoli Kavalas (Elite League) added 24-year old British 188cm guard Spyridon Kapsalos to their roster for the 2024-25 season. Kapsalos joins as the second import player, following the signing of USA player Tyre Gathright.
Mykonou in National League 1 was Kapsalos’ recent team, where he helped secure promotion to the Elite League. In 30 games last season, he averaged 5.1ppg and 2.5rpg. During the 2022-23 season, he played for Maroussi in the Elite League, contributing 7.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.2apg, and 1.1spg in 22 games. Kapsalos also spent time at Megaridas that season, with lower averages of 1.9ppg and 1.0rpg in 9 games.
Aside from his stint in Greece, Kapsalos has played for British teams like BA Lions and Barking Abbey.
