AO Mykonou (Elite League) agreed terms with 29-year old power forward Dimitris Legkikas (207cm-1995) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Legkikas played last season at GS Esperos Lamias. In 33 Elite League games he had 11.4ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.3bpg. 2023-24 was a great season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek Elite League Defensive Player of the Year and named to All-Defensive Team.
He has played previously professionally in Greece (Ilysiakos, Lavrio, Zografou and Charilaos) and France (Est Lyonnais).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the A2 Play-Off Semifinals in 2022. Legkikas was selected Eurobasket.com All-Greek B League Co-Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2017.
