AS Papagou Athens (Elite League) landed 24-year old 205cm power forward Eirinaios Balos for new season. It is actually his comeback to Athens as he has played here before. Balos played most recently at Psychikou in the Elite League. In 35 games he averaged 5.3ppg and 4.6rpg last season.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Papagou where in 30 Elite League games he had 7.5ppg and 4.0rpg in that year.
He represented Greece at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tel-Aviv (Israel) five years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 1.0ppg.
Balos has played previously for three other teams: GS Dafni Dafniou, Agriniou and Panathinaikos.
