Defending champion London Lions (SLB) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Montenegrin 208cm power forward Alen Hadzibegovic. Hadzibegovic played most recently at Lietkabelis in Lithuanian LKL league, but left. In 8 games he recorded 6.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1bpg last season. He also played 5 games in Eurocup where he averaged 4.0ppg and 4.2rpg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Enea Zastal in Polish OBL. In 28 games he had 14.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.5apg, 1.4spg (in top 5) and 1.3bpg in that year. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention. Hadzibegovic also played 8 games in European North Basketball League where he got 13.8ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.9apg, 2.0spg and 1.5bpg in that year. Great season indeed as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-European North Basketball League Second Team.
He is a very experienced player. Hadzibegovic has played also professionally in Japan (Swoops), Qatar (Al Sadd and Al Khor), Russia (Runa Basket) and Montenegro (Lovcen and Podgorica).
He won Qatari League championship title in 2022.
