Analysis of Basketball Results, Scores, Performance Metrics, Standings


Hapoel Shoval Haifa (Winner League) landed 28-year old American 195cm guard Cameron Young (college: Quinnipiac) for upcoming season. Young played most recently at Runa Basket in Russian Junior League. In 17 VTB United League games he averaged 11.0ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.4apg last season.
The previous (2023) summer he played at In the Lab in U.S. semi-pro league TBT where in two games he had 14.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0spg in 2023 year.
He is a very experienced player. Young has played also professionally in Italy (Cantu), Ukraine (Cherkasy), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, Cleveland Charge, Memphis Hustle and G League Ignite), NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers) and The Basketball Tournament (Herd That).
Among many awards his college team made it to the Ukrainian Cup final in 2021. He received All-MAAC Player of the Year award and was voted to Reese’s NCAA D1 All-Star Game back in 2019.
He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2019 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. Young played also for Arizona Western College for 2 years.
