KK Mornar-Barsko Zlato Bar (Erste Liga) strengthened their roster with the addition of 23-year-old Croatian international 197cm swingman Lovre Runjic, agency: AltusBasket for the 2024-25 season. Runjic has played for the last three years at KK Split in Croatian Premijer Liga. In 41 games, he recorded 6.5ppg and 2.0rpg last season. He helped them to reach the Croatian Premijer Liga final after they ended the regular season as the second-best team. Runjic also played 24 games in the ABA League, where he averaged 3.9ppg and 2.5rpg.
He has also been a member of the Croatian international program for several years. Runjic has regularly played for the Croatian senior team since 2023 and previously for the U18 National Team back in 2018.
He represented Croatia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tel-Aviv (Israel) five years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 3.0ppg, 3.2rpg.
Runjic has also played professionally for other Croatian teams like Trogir, Puntamika, and Universitas.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com Croatian Premijer Liga All-Defensive Team back in 2021.
