Defending champion KK Zadar (Premijer Liga) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Croatian 198cm swingman Dominic Gilbert (college: UBC, agency: BIG) for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Zadar as he has played here before. Gilbert played this summer at HK Eastern in Hong Kong D1 league. In 6 Basketball Champions League Asia games just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 8.8rpg (#4 in the league), 4.7apg (top 5) and 1.5spg.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in six different countries. Gilbert has played previously professionally in Canada, France (ADA Blois), Holland, Spain (Valladolid), Croatia (Cibona, Kvarner, Alkar, Sanac and Bosco) and Australia (Sutherland Sharks). He played in the final of Croatian Cup (Kresimir Cosic Cup) in 2018 and 2019.
Gilbert attended University of British Columbia until 2016 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
