Coming off a brutal loss, inarguably the worst of the Gregg Berhalter era, the USMNT looked like they were hopping out of the frying pan and into the fire taking on perennial powerhouse Brazil who were fielding a largely first-choice squad in their final Copa America tune-up. It was a hot one indeed as Brazil largely controlled the possession and outshot the US 25 to 12. However, eleven saves from Matt Turner and a free-kick goal from Christian Pulisic were enough for the US to pull out a tie.
