Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) signed American power forward Matt Costello for the upcoming season. Costello, who stands at 208cm, holds both American and Ivorian passports and played college basketball at Michigan State. He spent the last three years with Baskonia, averaging 11.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game in the Spanish Liga Endesa last season. He also had a solid performance in the Euroleague, with 9.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Costello has previous professional experience in Italy, the NBA, NBA G League, and NBA Summer League.
Costello, who graduated from Michigan State in 2016, will be entering his ninth season as a professional basketball player. He brings a wealth of experience and has achieved success both in college and at the professional level.
