Hapoel Holon (Winner League) inked 27-year old Canadian 185cm point guard Elijah Mitrou-Long (college: UNLV) for upcoming season. Mitrou-Long played this summer at Brampton in Canadian CEBL. In 5 games just recently, he averaged an impressive 15.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.2apg, and 1.0spg.
He has also played professionally in Bulgaria (Levski) and Greece (Peristeri, Aris Midea, PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki, and Apollon Patras). His team made it to the Greek League Semifinals in 2024. Mitrou-Long was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek GBL Honorable Mention in 2024.
He graduated from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas in 2020, and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. Mitrou-Long has played for other colleges like The University of Texas and Mount Saint Mary’s University.
