Esenler Erokspor (TBL) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old forward Mustafa Gorur (204cm-1988) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Gorur has played for the last three years at Manisa Buyuksehir Belediye Spor in the BSL. In 28 games he had 3.4ppg and 1.9rpg last season. TBL will be definitely a better match, and he can see more playing time. He also played 13 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded just 1.8ppg and 1.8rpg.
Gorur has spent his entire career in Turkey playing for eight other teams: Turk Telekom, Beylikduzu, Beykoz, Aliaga, Bursaspor, FMV Isik, Vestel, and Denizli. He was also voted to Eurobasket.com Turkish TB2L All-Domestic Players Team back in 2014 and 2015.
His team won the Turkish TBL Regular Season in 2022.
Gorur is close to retirement age as a player. It’s very possible he may end his playing career at Erokspor.
