KK Pelister Sport Bitola (Prva Liga) added 30-year old ex-international point guard Boban Stajic (185cm-1993) to their roster for the new 2024-25 season. This marks his comeback to Bitola, as he has previously played here. Stajic’s last season was with Rabotnicki (Prva Liga), where he averaged 7.1ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.5apg, and 1.2spg in 31 games, helping the team finish as the league’s second-best and advance to the semifinals.
In the previous 2022-23 season, Stajic played for Pelister, where he recorded 12.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 6.2apg (leading the league), and 2.1spg in 25 Prva Liga games. His performance contributed to the team reaching the North Macedonian League final, and he was named to the Eurobasket.com All-North Macedonian League Honorable Mention.
Stajic has also played in the ABA League, averaging 5.3ppg, 1.2rpg, 3.6apg, and 2.1spg in 9 games. He represented North Macedonia at the FIBA EuroBasket European Championships 2021 Pre-Qualifiers five years ago, with stats of 4.7ppg, 3.3apg, and 2.0spg over 3 games.
Throughout his career, Stajic has played for MZT Skopje, Feni Industries, KK Kumanovo 2009, Kozuv, Lirija, and Makedonija Mladi, with his team winning the North Macedonian League Regular Season in 2021.
