National League newcomer Hapoel Migdal Haemek/Emek Izrael/Nazareth Elite has signed 27-year-old American 201cm Forward/Center Tervell Beck for the upcoming season. Beck, who played most recently at KB Peja in the Kosovan Superliga, left the team in Jan.’24 after playing in three leagues last year. In 8 Superliga games, he averaged 14.0ppg, 6.8rpg, and 1.4apg. Beck also played 5 games in the FIBA Europe Cup with stats of 10.8ppg, 5.2rpg, and 1.2apg. In addition, he contributed to 1 game in the Basketball Champions League where he scored an impressive 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. His team made it to the Kosovo final in 2024.
The previous season (2022-23), Beck played at Valmiera Glass in the Latvian LBL. He was the league’s third-best scorer with an average of 17.7ppg in three Latvian LBL games. In 30 games in the Lat-Est BL, Beck posted stats of 18.3ppg, 5.8rpg, and 1.3apg. Additionally, he contributed to 6 games in the European North Basketball League where he averaged 19.2ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.2apg, and 1.0spg. That season, he was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Latvian-Estonian Basketball League Honorable Mention.
Beck, a very experienced player, graduated from Kent State in 2022 and will be entering his third season in professional basketball. He also played for the University of Nevada – Las Vegas for 2 years.
