Ryan Woolridge

Newly promoted Panionios Athens (GBL) tabbed 27-year old American 190cm guard Ryan Woolridge (college: Gonzaga) for new season. Woolridge played most recently at Szedeak in Hungarian A Division. In 29 games he was league’s third best scorer with impressive 20.8ppg and recorded 8.9rpg (#3 in the league), 5.7apg (top 5) and 2.2spg (leader !!!) last season. He helped them to make it to the cup final. Woolridge can count that season as a very successful as was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian A Division Import Player of the Year, voted to All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (6 times).
He is a very experienced player. Woolridge has played also professionally in Germany (Bayreuth), Greece (Iraklis), NBA G League (OKC Blue) and NBA Summer League (OKC Thunder).
His college team won WCC Tournament in 2020.
He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2020 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. Woolridge played for other colleges like: University of North Texas, University of San Diego.
