Manisa Buyuksehir Belediye Spor (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 37-year old former international 188cm point guard Mehmet Yagmur for season 2024-25. Yagmur has played for the last two years at Turk Telekom in the BSL. But in 15 games he recorded just 1.0ppg last season. He also played 9 games in Eurocup, but he averaged only 0.6ppg.
Yagmur was a member of Turkish international program for some years. He was called to Turkish Senior National Team between 2014 and 2016 and previously for U21 National Team back in 2006.
Yagmur has spent his entire career in Turkey playing for eight other teams: Tofas, Pinar Karsiyaka, Darussafaka Lassa, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Bakirkoy, Eskisehir and Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi. His team won Turkish League Regular Season in 2008 and 2023.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com Turkish League All-Domestic Players Team back in 2016.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Manisa.

Great passing skills, has the right ball handling and court vision; need to improve his shooting range and his decision-making to become a good point guard
