TED Kolejliler Ankara (TBL) agreed terms with 20-year old Ahmet Kutay Gunes (2004, agency: Octagon Europe) for new 2024-25 season. It is actually his comeback to Ankara as he has played here before. Gunes played last season at Ayos in the TB2L. He helped them to win the TB2L title.
The most of previous (2022-23) season he spent at TED Ankara where in 20 TBL games he was the best scorer with just 2.8ppg and averaged in that year. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times) and named to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish U19 League Third Team. Gunes also played for TED Ankara (U19 League). In 18 games he was the best scorer with impressive 22.7ppg and had 7.1rpg, 7.1apg (top 5) and 2.6spg in that year. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week (2 times) and named to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish U19 League Third Team.
