41 points scored by 32 year old power forward Joren Vermoesen (201-F/C-1993) made him the highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team Brugge beat the Limburg B 109 to 80. He is the 9th best scorer in the league averaging 18 points and 5 rebounds per game.
He has played previously for three other Belgian teams: St-Niklase, Merelbeke Hawks and Okapi Aalst.
He won the Belgian Top Division II championship title earlier this year.
Among many awards he was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Belgian Top Division I First Team between 2019 and 2022. Vermoesen was also selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Belgian Top Division I Second Team back in 2018.
