PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki (GBL) agreed terms with 30-year old power forward Diamantis Slaftsakis (201cm-1994) for upcoming 2024-25 season. It is actually his comeback to Thessaloniki as he has played here before. Slaftsakis played last season at Aris in the GBL. In 29 games he had just 2.3ppg and 2.3rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Slaftsakis also played 15 games in Eurocup where he recorded only 1.6ppg and 1.5rpg. He was a member of Greek U20 National Team in 2014. Slaftsakis has played previously for seven other teams: Apollon Patras, Kolossos H Hotels Rodou, Koroivos, KAO Dramas, Trikala, Mantoulidis and KAO Dramas.
