AE Psychiko Athens (Elite League) agreed terms with 32-year old power forward Anastasios Antonakis (205cm-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) for new 2024-25 season. Antonakis has played for the last two years at Panionios. In 23 Elite League games he had just 2.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg last season. He helped them to win the Elite League title.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Ethnikos (B).
Antonakis was a member of Greek U20 National Team back in 2012.
He has played previously for eight other teams: AEK Athens, Apollon Patras, Pagrati, Ilysiakos, Koroivos, Doxa Lefkadas, Machites and AO Triton.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A2 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
