Delta Gurjaani (Superleague) re-signed 31-year old former international 197cm swingman Saba Lobjanidze for the upcoming season. Lobjanidze played there last season. In 29 Superleague games, he recorded 10.5ppg, 5.7rpg, and 3.1apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals and was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention.
In the previous (2022-23) season, he played at Basketball Club Batumi where in 24 Superleague games he averaged 9.0ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.0spg. Lobjanidze contributed to his team winning the Supercup.
He was a member of the Georgian international program for some years, being called to the Georgian Senior National Team between 2020 and 2022 and previously for the U20 National Team in 2012.
Lobjanidze has played previously for four other teams: Rustavi, Tbilisi State University, MIA Academy, and Amra Gagra. He won the Georgian League championship title in 2019.
