The Los Angeles Chargers have been knocking on the door of contention for quite a while now.
They have the most difficult thing to find, which is a franchise-caliber quarterback.
They also have some elite playmakers on offense, and the defensive personnel to be, at worst, above average.
Coaching, however, has been a major issue for years now, and some fans were in shock by the fact that Brandon Staley was able to hold onto his job for so long.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes that there would be no better fit for the Chargers than hiring Jim Harbaugh.
Talking on The Carton Show, the analyst claimed that it just makes too much sense for both parties, adding that the roster is perfect for the Michigan coach.
“There’s no one better for the Chargers job than Jim Harbaugh,” Carton said.

Harbaugh is being coveted by multiple teams right now, but he’s already met with the Chargers, and he’s been on their shortlist for quite a while now.
The Wolverines won’t let him go without a fight, though.
Following his win at the National Championship game, they’re trying to convince him to stay in Ann Arbor for a little longer, even though he could be looking at yet another NCAA-imposed suspension next season.
That’s why the Chargers will have to be extra aggressive in their pursuit of the veteran coach, as they’re going to face some steep competition for his services.
