Analyst Confident in Predicting Texans’ Season Outlook

Analyst Has A Strong Belief On What Texans Will Do This Season

The Houston Texans shocked the football world last season by winning the AFC South and winning a playoff game behind rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans, and expectations are now even higher following such a successful run last year.

One analyst believes the team is capable of going even a step further this season in Stroud’s sophomore campaign.

On today’s episode of The Carton Show, Craig Carton said about the Houston Texans, “They should win the division. They should make a run towards the AFC Championship game.”

Carton praised the Texans for making a big addition in Stefon Diggs, and fellow analyst/former New York Giants wide receiver gave Stroud credit for making Tank Dell a star.

This offense has all it needs to be even better this upcoming season now that it has one of the best wide receiver trios in the NFL with Diggs, Dell, and Nico Collins.

They also mentioned the added incentive of Diggs fighting for one more big contract and putting up a few more big years that could make him a borderline Hall-of-Famer.

The AFC South should be a fun battle this season, as the Jacksonville Jaguars recently paid Trevor Lawrence and will be looking to get back on track after fading down the stretch last season, and the Indianapolis Colts will have starting QB Anthony Richardson ready to go in Week 1 after having his rookie season derailed before it ever got going.

Even the Tennessee Titans should surprise some people after a big free-agency spending spree.
