The Green Bay Packers were one of the most surprising teams in the NFL this season.
Jordan Love was entering his first year as the team’s starter, which provided a lot of unknowns for fans and analysts.
It might have been rocky at first, but the Packers started to figure things out at the end of the year.
They not only made it into the playoffs, but they beat the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round, and narrowly lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.
While this gave the fanbase a lot of hope for their future under Love, one analyst doesn’t see it that way.
In fact, Craig Carton recently had a bold prediction for the Packers in 2024, saying, “The Green Bay Packers come in last place in their division.”

This was not a popular take among Carton’s co-hosts, as they were all upset with him for making such an outlandish claim.
The other two analysts are under the impression that the Packers are slated for a big step forward, not a giant step back.
The Detroit Lions finished the 2023 season as the NFC North leaders and the Packers were second.
Carton’s take is interesting, considering the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings don’t know who their quarterback is going to be.
The Packers, surprisingly, have a lot of certainty about what their roster is going to look like, especially since many of their young receivers have panned out better than expected over their first few seasons.
